I am am unable to capture photo and thumb impression during document execution. I feel the IGR application cannot initialize my webcam hardware. I have followed all instructions to setup Internet explorer. I also installed all software drivers. Standalone tests outside the web application are working fine. Is there a special setting that needs to be done.

I am using Secugen Hamster Pro20. The fingerprint capture works and tested fine outside Internet explorer 10 using SGDX.EXE utility. I am unable to capture fingerprint in Internet explorer. It gives error – FAIL TO LOAD DLL. I have done all the recommended ActiveX settings ENABLED in IE.
kindly uninstall secugen software and reinstall and reset the internet explorer and do changes according to e-registration website and also install the driver from there website

One time cost for Biometric/webcam but gets covered within 3-4 registrations.. internet is free -thanks to Jio and the required time depends on the individual how quickly he can perform.. setting up the biometric and registering the first doc takes time.. as everything first time cannot be perfect.. but ones it goes through life becomes easy after then..
I am saying this from a personal experience of my self.. I register L&L every year and its a pain chasing people around and then comes the bargaining of the cost and all. That made me learn how to do registration by self online..thanks to Maharashtra IGR to make it available online and easy for all..

After you Capture photo and thumb of all parties then Click on save and then exit.. you will be routed back to the execute document page where you have all buttons to submit, sign digitally bla bla bla..there click on Admission and you will get to the UID verification page then one by one select each party and capture their thumb again to verify with UID and click save. Remember to verify UID thumb needs to be captured again for each party. Once all UID is verified and you can click save and then submit your document for registration.. Also make sure you dont have Pop up blocker enabled.. disable all pop up blocker.. thanks 🙂
What kind of Webcam and Finger print scanner are you using. My issue is when I click on capture photo and Thumb it does not initializes the camera on the laptop. Is there any specific Camera and finger print scanner I should be using ?
