79(A) MAHARASHTRA CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING SOCITIES MANNUAL – 15.10.2011
Can a Co-opted Member (not elected) permitted to hold the office bearers post. Since it came to our knowledge that Co-Opted member is not allowed to vote for the election of office bearers.
even an Associate member can stand in the election after contesting election as elected candidate. In our Society a member is co-opted one year after the elections are over, committee was formed Office bearers took over from elected members and still few elected members are available to avail the post, but a well planned conspiracy with a malafide intention someone resigns and the new member is co-opted and taken over as Secretary. and embarrassing members, inviting cats from the vicinity and feeding them and cats are doing shit all around, she has one at home is not the issue, but cats are disrubing the free movement of cars sitting at the entrance and even the security guards are taking caer of these cats since the member is a secretary.
